Be a Participant

The most important element of an interactive performance is the participant (also known as a spect-actor.) There are many opportunities for you to become a spect-actor at IPL, whether in our training sessions, rehearsals, or performances. You do not need any prior performance experience, just a willingness to play and the desire to participate.

The experience is so unique as to be indescribable. It made my pulse race, it exhilarated me. It made me glad to be alive in this brave, new interactive world.

It changed my life. For one week I was Anne Davis. If I had known in advance what was going to happen, I would have declined the offer to participate. What a mistake that would have been!

I just wanted to reemphasize my appreciation and enthusiasm for the interactive exercises we experienced yesterday.  It truly felt like the real world and was a great learning experience.
