Directions to the Lab

UCF Campus

Visitors are welcome at IPL. Most of our rehearsals, research/training sessions, meetings, and classes are open for visitors to come and observe. If you would like to stop by, here are the directions.

Driving to the Interactive Performance Lab from Downtown Orlando

EAST on the 408 East West Expressway
Pass the 417 (stay in the right lanes, the left lanes turn into the 417)
NORTH on ALAFAYA TRAIL
RIGHT on RESEARCH PARKWAY (there is a La Quinta Inn on the corner)
LEFT on DISCOVERY DRIVE (a stoplight)
Pass the Tech Center on your left
LEFT at the next driveway (you will see trailers and an electrical station)
Quick RIGHT and LEFT will put you facing TR534, home of the Interactive Performance Lab (the sign outside says "Department of Theatre")

Avoid a parking ticket

Parking in this lot requires a permit. For directions to a free lot that is only a short walk to the Lab, click here.

IPL Downtown
Some IPL rehearsals, workshops, and production meetings are held at the downtown UCF School of Film & Digital Media facility located in the Orlando Centroplex, next to the Marriott Hotel and across the street from the Amway Arena.
